I was married in 2006 to a random guy I met in Can Cun Mexico! When we met, it was love at first sight. He took first place in the wet t-shirt competition and when I went up to congratulate him, I realized I had met the person I was going to marry!! This story is partially true, as we did meet in Mexico our senior year. However, fortunately, he was not a part of the wet t shirt contest. We have been married for four years now and had our first baby on November 3, 2009! His name is Benjamin Daniel Golden, and we are loving every second of this new parenting gig. No more staying out until the sun comes up! I moved out to Boston five years ago while my husband went to medical school and I received my M.Ed in elementary education. It has been an absolutely wonderful experience and we love the east coast, but we are moving back to Minnesota at the beginning of June. My husband will be doing his family medicine residency at St. John's Hospital in St. Paul, and I will continue living the good life... (thank you federal student loans!) We have been so blessed in this life and I am happier than I could have ever imagined. We can't wait to see everyone! I can't believe how fast 10 years flies by!
